Scotts of Carshalton in south London is a family of butchers with an experience that is now in its fourth generation. They have achieved a perfect balance between originality, excellent customer service, and a recognized skill and mastery in the art of butchery. The business has evolved and grown over time, and by constantly updating their premises they have managed to embrace the latest food trends and customer demands.
Their growing expansion has challenged their expansion plans with the possible opening of the store next door, but we have managed to bring alternative solutions, hence the recent addition of more multidecks. This extended display area made it unnecessary to acquire new premises as the new displays adequately improved their offer while keeping up with demand.
Criocabin and Creative Retail Solutions initially provided an astonishing 2580 mm in length, behind the CRIOCABIN EPV specific back counter unit which is a backbone and strongly present in the company’s marketing thanks to its unmistakable presence in the point of sale. . EPV stands out for its top-notch joints, offering flexibility in shelving and suspended rails to fit the stock available that day.
Customer demand for self-serve and readily marinated meals was steadily increasing. The demand for prepackaged meat preparations was more suitable as an in-store “grab b & go” selection, rather than the traditional service counter.
We then provided Scotts with a remotely managed mural lane with Criocabin Encore EE900-C, consisting of 937mm, 1250mm and 1250mm multiplex units. All with Total Black interiors and exteriors to match Scotts’ iconic branding. In May 2020 we supplied an additional series of 1875 Criocabin Encore multideck EE900C which were successfully installed, respecting the social distance restrictions due to Covid-19.
The company had daily queues outside the point of sale of locals who struggled to obtain daily supplies, they installed effective adjustable protections for customers and their collaborators, but only thanks to the recent inclusion of additional multidecks have they managed to make front in providing quality meat to the entire local community.
