Helium Test: an important preventive maintenance tool

The Helium Test is part of preventive maintenance operations during the production phase. It is carried out on all Criocabin self-service and assisted-service display counters.

This test uses helium as a tracer gasto detect leaks in the display counter. Helium has a very small molecular mass, making it perfect for accurately detecting even the smallest leaks using a sniffer.

The process is entirely eco-friendly: helium is colourless and has no smell or taste. It is non-toxic and if dispersed into the environment, it causes no problems. It is indeed an important preventive system also in environmental terms, as it ensures the proper functioning of the display counter, preserves its durability and prevents any leakage of refrigerant gas.
