A night curtain is a user-friendly accessory that is very understated in appearance, yet it plays an important role in reducing energy consumption, making it easier to ensure a constant temperature in a display case. This accessory can therefore be fitted on most Criocabin display cases, both the upright and the assisted-service version. Its effectiveness is particularly noticeable in self-service upright refrigerated display cases.

Tests conducted at our R&D department show that when the night curtain is in the down position on upright refrigerated display cases, an average saving of 20% over 24 hours is obtained. This is a considerable difference that has many advantages: first of all, in environmental terms, as it allows, in just a few seconds and without any effort, a reduction in unnecessary daily energy consumption when the display case is not in use (i.e. overnight). The advantage is therefore also economic and, especially in the long run, leads to significant savings.

Extremely user-friendly: it has a handle with a hook for closing and a braking mechanism for easy rewinding.
