Butcher’s Poma – Italy

Family tradition and a view to the future at the butcher’s shop

A fine example of innovation in the footsteps of tradition comes from Trapani, where the historic Butcher’s Poma has reopened its doors after a major renovation, in a 130 square metre space. Leading the change is 54-year-old Francesco Poma, who is investing in the future to include his children, Michele and Katia, in the family business.

Design and technology at the service of quality in butcher shop fittings

The new look of the shop combines aesthetics and functionality, thanks to Criocabin’s advanced technology and design. The highlight are the refrigerated counters:

  • Max with the G-Concept system
  • Max Tower, the ducted display tower
  • Genesis System, the open-view aging cell
  • The Elle System cell

Tailor-made solutions designed to enhance the quality of the meat on display and ensure ideal preservation conditions.

A recognisable point of sale and a forward-looking range

The renovation has not only extended the space, but has also enhanced the range of products on offer. The selection of local meats – beef, lamb, pork and poultry from small local breeders – is now complemented by premium cuts destined for aging and specific preparations for BBQ enthusiasts.

With this make-over, Butcher’s Poma confirms its status as a point of reference in Trapani, successfully combining artisan tradition and new consumer trends. A project that demonstrates how innovation and identity can coexist harmoniously, creating a unique and highly recognisable point of sale.
